How do we remove the lens to send it back for repair?

The lens in our panoramaxx series hoods are not designed to be replaced in the field. Please contact us at 401-398-7240 or by email at [email protected] and we will provide a couple of options that will get you back up and running quickly.

does this helmet have x mode ? I work outside and a lot of times the lens get dark with the light of the sun.

This helmet does not have “x mode”. When using this hood in sunlight we recommend reducing the sensitivity to its lowest setting.

Does the Panoramaxx CLT come with the isofit headgear?

The standard panoramaxx CLT comes with isofit headgear installed but the PAPR version of the panoramaxx CLT comes with our standard headgear.

I purchased the Optrel Panoramaxx CLT in black a few months back and I couldn’t be happier with this product. The field of vision is enormous since the blinker sits right up on the nose, right in front of your eyes. The quality of the hood plastic is top-notch and the crystal-clear image through the lens, even while you are putting down metal, makes laying down a perfect stack of dimes easier than you can imagine. The response time to when you light up is spot on, no delay, and the push button grinding feature on the outside of the helmet is fantastic. Makes it unnecessary to lift up your hood for any reason once you pull it down and start working. While this is my first Optrel hood and cannot comment on any of their other products, The investment I made on this one has already been worth every penny. I will not hesitate to purchase any Optrel products in the future. keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen!!!!

Is there a Grind Mode button on the outside of the helmet?

Yes there is. When wearing the hood it is located on the upper left side just above the headgear adjustment knob.

Absolutely awesome. Its very clear and with the cheater lens I can see everything perfectly. I like the grind mode as well and the button is out of the way so im not hitting it accidentally. Well worth the money and the customer service is top notch.
